goodbye 2011As my 50th year passes and I reflect back to all our wonderful guests visiting from places such as Canada, ND, TX, PA,
IN, IL, MO, OH, SD, CA, FL, we are delighted to share our corner of serenity and beauty with them all. We have had
many customers loving our neck of the woods and wanting to come again. My Husbands business is expanding and he is extremely
busy too, we are proud to be able to add on in this state of the economy and things look very promising for 2012.
We feel very blessed and happy all our hard work is paying off. Now to find the energy to continue this very busy life
we lead. We are looking forward to guests from the UK and attending the Naples opera to see our daughter perform this
winter. Happy New Year!

I'm still wearing sliipers outdoorsI'm sort of famous for wearing sliipers out side but who would think I could still be doing it in Mid December.
Because there is no snow I have been skating every day since the ice is so smooth, one can pretty much slkate the whole
lake. So I bundle up slippers included and head for the lake where I have a chair to sit on while I put on my skates.
It feels very wierd walking across the lawn in slippers in December. But what feels wonderful is gliding across the
ice on skates and to be able to go around the whole lake, well thats just a blast!

Christmas musicSitting in my spear house waiting for that illusive big northern, I was listening to Christmas music and noticed my sucker
minnow swim dancing to the music. Yes I believe he was enjoying it as much as I was. Later in the afternoon when
i was back at home I turn my outdoor tunes on full blast and when out on the lake for some afternoon skating which is a daily
ritual for me. I enjoyed skating to Christmas music in my very own winter wonderland. Thinking of the minnow doing
is swim dance, I too had to do my own skate dance while my audience ( my dogs) barked with glee!

Get a lifeWe have some spoil sports in our township who have nothing better to do than make mountains out of mole hills.
This is a very unattractive personality trait of these supposed Christians. It took me a while to remove the knive from
my back the last time and now they're at it again. Well I have been told by many that jelousy drives their
bad behavior. That and our passion to share this beautiful area with our guests. (they want it all
to themselves) I am embarrassed to say these people are from the community in which I live and have learned
to just have nothing to do with them. It appears to us that no matter what we do they make mountains and use what
ever authorities and lies they can come up with to further their position. To them I say good luck and what goes around
comes around. To make up for these bad apples I must say that there are far more wonderful people up here and
we are blessed with many really great friends and neighbors.
