A romantic Squaw Lake MN. bed and breakfast with groomed XC ski trails..

The serenity and beauty of this establishment made our tedious 850 mile treck from Inianaplolis disappear completely. Kathryn, an excellent hostess and " tour guide" made us feel right at home from the first minute of our arrival. Our four day stay went way too fast! What a wonderful break from our hot Houston TX home. It's a pleasure to pay for services that are offered with such sincerity and pride! This B&B is really MINNESOTA NICE!

WOW,very relaxing We stayed 2 nights & wish we would have stayed longer. What else can you ask for, to stay in an amazing home in the middle of the woods. Walk out the door and you can snowmoble, cross country ski, ice skate, fish, enjoy nature all right there. We had a great time. Lori Hofer

This showcase must be seen to be believed!
I was absolutely astonished at how amazing this house was. We stayed in the Secret Garden Room, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. It was like visiting friends who just happened to have the most incredible home we had ever seen. Unfortunately we arrived later in the evening so we weren't able to take advantage of everything offered, but we fully intend to go back for a more extended stay.
Kathryn was the perfect hostess. We got a tour of the house, and all the creativity and attention to detail that went into building and decorating it just blew us away. The photos truly do not do it justice, and it needs to be seen to be believed.
If you are looking for something unique and off the beaten path, you won't be disappointed. It is truly a showcase.

Never again will I have to search and search for an awesome place to stay in northern Minnesota. We have found the best vacation place here. When we were driving in I looked at my husband with that what did you get us into look as we drove into the Chippewa National Forest. Once we arrived and saw the inn I thought wow it's really cool looking. I had a very welcoming feeling as you greeted us on the courtyard and helped with luggage, that just impressed me. I wanted to look around right away because everything was so beautiful. Your gardens that greeted us, your rustic entrance and the class and elegance that surrounds each room. Our four day stay was relaxing, spoiling and just a lot of fun. We have been to several B&B's but none that we like more than yours. Your home is so unique and it's not something you can see any where else thats for sure. Everything is so perfectly put together and even though there were no real northern lights we thought your ceiling was the coolest thing ever. We also loved the cave and the counter top in the 1/2 bath, not to mention all the stained glass. You are so talented and so friendly and we thank you for your hospitality. We'll be back for sure!!!
